Motivation....

To Finish-A-Long!

Given my new mantra of 'slow sewing'....

she can quilt

there can only be one goal for the next few weeks....

to have this hand quilted and bound....

I might even have it finished for this...

AmysCreativeSide.com

Wish me luck....

I'd also like to finish these placemats,

as part of the Finish-A-Long!

Which, in fact, gives me TWO goals....

Two, pffff!

I can do it!

Linking up....as required!

Happy sewing...

Oh Susan, it is seriously stunning. Best of luck - I'm totally coming to visit you one day so I can see your amazing quilts in person!

I think it's best not to set too many goals as you're more likely to achieve them. Happy slow sewing.

Good luck. It is a great quilt and I am sure it will look amazing with your quilting. After that the place mats will seem like a breeze!

You are so making me laugh with your slow sewing comments. I rather like the idea of picking a project and getting on with it, ignoring all others. And the Pickle Dishes is one hell of a fabulous project to be getting on with. Can't wait to see it in the festival.

Wow! That pickledish is looking so yummy! I love the flea market fancy in the background...and the texty print for the squares. Cute placemats...your slow is still faster than my no-sewing!

you already have a beautiful start to your hand pieced and quilted pickle dish. It is spectacular and will make a beautiful finish for the Blogger's Quilt Festival

Th hand quilting on your pickledish quilt is going to make your quilt so awesome, Suz. Do I see some Marmalade there in that second project!?

Beautiful quilting Susan. I absolutely adore your Ginger Kisses.
Two goals, perfectly achievable.

The quilt is gorgeous. Way to go on the hand quilting. I'm starting to see the value and enjoyment of having slow moving projects that get worked on little by little vs big projects that get all or nothing done at a time.
