Sewing with the Farmer's Wife

A little more time was spent with the Farmer's Wife this week, at the LQS,

building up our relationship!

We browsed the aisles and bought....

# 84

a "Spool"...

and

# 74
 Ribbons....

and together puzzled over the calico...

 # 16 "Calico Puzzle"
And here we are playing nicely together!

We are still friends!

Happy days!

Those are so cute! I'm doing my FW in all solids--Kaffe Fassett shot cottons. I decided that when I get to the spool block, I will make an exception and use some of his striped fabric for the "thread." I can hardly wait!

They look great...and I love the ribbon!!! You chose nice colors. That mustardy yellow is one of my favorites. Have you looked at all your blocks together yet?

Still giggling at the antics you, the farmer and his wife are getting up to! Very pretty blocks, especially the puzzle block with the florals and spots :)
