Stash Project Complete!

I decided late last year to try to use up some of my stash!

I chose all my reds, pinks, oranges, greens and some black and white for

contrast!

Cut out lots of strips in a variety of widths...

And this is what I made...

So, this week, after an afternoon of FMQ....

I bound it....

and I'm happy to say...

I have a stash project complete!

I haven't quite decided where this is going yet?

To a happy home I hope!

But before it goes, it needs a name too...

It reminds me of watermelon and oranges!

Suggestions gratefully received!

I'm linking up to Clover and Violet's Stash Project -

Happy sewing!

  2. Suz - this is lovely - reminds me of a fruit basket (complete with grapes on the back). What type of thread did you use for your FMQ?

  8. So cheerful and cheering. Very nice work! (Sorry, no name suggestion. I am not much good at naming quilts.)
